Herschel Walker Still Kicking Ass And Taking Names

Hall of Fame RB Herschel Walker is currently reestablishing his place among the baddest dudes on the planet at the age of 48. Walker recently began a career in MMA in 2009 and is quickly proving that the 1982 Heisman Trophy winner is still not one to be messed with. After a 3rd round victory in his first match over an opponent 22 years his junior Walker won his second career match over Scott Carson with a 1st round TKO (he waits until the 0:42 mark to drop his opponent before manhandling him on the ground until the referee finally ends the match 2 minutes later).

A few days ago Walker reiterated a previous statement that he feels he could easily return to the NFL if he wished considering the shape he's maintained. Walker was famous for his unique workout routine which doesn't involve weight lifting but rather thousands of push-ups and sit-ups every day. Walker also claims that he still runs the 40 yard dash in 4.35. While that's probably unrealistic it should be noted that this man hold a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and qualified for the 1992 Winter Olympics as a bobsledder.

Walker has said that he would try to return to the NFL when he turned 50 just to prove he could do it but when questioned about it after his most recent fight he stated he is committed to his MMA career. I think it's safe to say that whether it be football, MMA or Snowboard Superpipe (I'm only kind of joking) Herschel Walker's athletic career is far from over. His only real obstacle is himself right now.
